Multiple iPhone 12 sizes

First of all, the physical size of the phone. Cellular industry analysts propose that there will be four iterations of the phone, the smallest being the new 5.4-inch version iPhone 12 Mini. Then there are the two base models iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, both of which are expected to be 6.1 inches tall, making them slightly larger than the current ones iPhone 11 Pro’s 5.8 inch size.

Finally there is the big one, the iPhone 12 Pro Max. With a rumored screen size of 6.7 inches, you need a fairly large bag to comfortably accommodate this beast.

Physical design, cameras and notch

Various rumors point to an update to the outer metal edge of the iPhone 12, which will feature a flat, beveled metal design, similar to the edge of the recent iPad Pro. The model also shows a potential fourth lens in the phone’s rear camera array – that would be a lidar sensor that provides more accurate depth information for enhanced augmented reality capabilities.

The flat design would help Apple keep the phone’s physical size down, shrinking those frames, and letting the screen fill more of the body. It’s also rumored to be shrinking the notch on the front of the screen that houses the selfie camera, although it’s unlikely to go away entirely on this generation of phones.

New blue color

It is rumored that Apple is preparing a new dark blue color for the new generation iPhone 12, possibly replacing the green model that was launched with the iPhone 11. It’s on trend – it’s Pantone’s 2020 Color of the Year – and I think it looks pretty smart in the EverythingApplePro model shown above.
