Saudi Passports launches four new electronic services

Includes issuing a Saudi passport for minors, renewing residency, and leaving and returning from outside the Kingdom

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, has inaugurated, through visual communication technology, the new electronic services of the General Directorate of Passports through the electronic platforms (Absher Individuals – Absher Business – Resident), stressing that the Ministry will continue to develop electronic security services for citizens and residents.
During the inauguration, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud listened to a brief explanation of these services and their advantages presented by the Director General of Passports, Major General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Yahya.
The new electronic services of the General Directorate of Passports, which aim to facilitate the completion of passport services for citizens and residents using electronic means, include the service of issuing and renewing the Saudi passport for minors of 15 years of age or less, and the services of renewing residency and extending the exit and return visa from outside the Kingdom. And the service of issuing a final exit visa during the trial period, in addition to a number of services that enable the beneficiary to communicate with the General Directorate of Passports to request the implementation of specific services without the need to review the passports departments.
