In the details, the investigations revealed that the deceased doctor was a consultant “obstetrics and gynecology”, named Nashat Al-Arabi, about 66 years old, and residing with his 93-year-old father, and he had never married or had children before, and that he was going through a state of severe depression. During the recent period, “for fear of his advanced age and the absence of anyone to take care of him, because he did not have children or marry”, according to “Cairo 24”.
Security investigations indicated that, “hours before his suicide, the doctor called his sister’s husband and met him, his father, his sister’s husband, his clinic secretary and the worker, and he informed them that he had entered into a state of severe depression when he was infected 3 times with the Corona virus, and he took many drugs during the recent period that caused him diseases and clots that entered him in a case Severe depression – according to what his family, his father and his secretary said, then he left them and entered his room for several minutes, only to be surprised after that that he threw himself from the seventh floor and committed suicide.
He also left a touching and sad message before his suicide, in which he said: “The severe rise in blood pressure caused me to have health problems that cannot be cured…suffering is beyond my means, and the pain does not leave me day and night… I apologize to my family, friends and patients.”
