The sources added that Krist left behind a note saying that she wanted to leave everything to her mother, explaining that Krist lived on the ninth floor of the building and was alone when she jumped from a balcony on the twenty-ninth floor.

The sources said she was last seen on the balcony.

Friends and neighbors expressed their grief over the loss of former Miss USA Chesley Crest.

Former Miss South Carolina winner MacKenzie Devina, who competed against Crist in the 2019 Miss USA pageant, said, “Crist is an amazing and moving woman.”

“The impact it has had on so many people, including myself, has been amazing,” she added.

As for Billy Bush, he posted a picture of Krist, saying: “She was positive, hard working, fun, and of course beautiful.”

For its part, the family of the former beauty queen confirmed Christ’s death in a statement, noting that “her light was an inspiration to others around the world with her beauty and strength.”
