Burger King and Sony are giving away a PS5 to 1,000...

Burger King and Sony want to give you a PS5.

Sony and the always-fun Burger King have teamed up to hand out 1,000 PS5 Consoles for those lucky enough to win one.

To order a free PS5 or to be in the race, you need to purchase at least $ 5 pre-tax from the store or the Burger King app.

This way you will receive a token to enter the competition and you can earn one token per day for every purchase. When food is ordered through the Burger King app, the token is entered automatically. Whenever you shop at a restaurant, you need to provide receipt information online every time.

Of course, if Burger King isn’t your cup of tea, you can send in your chance at a console too. Just print out your full name, full postal address, email address, telephone number, month and year of birth on a piece of paper. You can enter once a day based on the date of the postmark.

Information on how to participate can be found on the competition page.

Original story

PlayStation teamed up with Burger King this week for something of a PS5 announcement.

Sony has now revealed most of the details that have remained a mystery for months PS5. The platform owner finally talked about backward compatibility and offered to completely dismantle the console.

We know the price and launch date for PS5, which games will be available at launch in a few weeks, and how much they will cost. The only thing left under wraps is the console’s updated UI. But it looks like we’re going to have our first look at it soon.

Overnight, Burger King’s social media accounts in America posted a short clip in which the restaurant chain’s mascot opens a large bag. When it does, the bag plays the PS5’s boot stinger and glows blue, much like it does on the console. The teaser ends on a date on October 15, when more details will be announced.

You may recall that this particular sound was actually first heard on PS5 during a transition in the June unveiling event. At the time, it was dismissed by many as being related to PS5, but we now believe that this is actually the sound PS5s play when booting.

The announcement could be as simple as a contest to win PS5 consoles for Burger King customers, much like the many Xbox contests with Taco Bell. October 15th could also give us our first proper look at the PS5 UI. We hope this is the case.

Anyway, we’ll find out on Thursday. If you don’t want to wait for the chance to win a console, you can secure a PS5 pre-order here.
