Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral arrived at Fiumicino airport in Italy on Friday morning, in preparation for ending his transfer to Roma, during the current summer transfer period.

According to Calcio Mercato website, Roma will pay two million euros to borrow the player for the next two seasons, and the Giallorossi has also put a clause that allows him to buy the player permanently for 5 million euros.

The 23-year-old will undergo a medical examination with Roma on Friday.

With Mayoral’s contract with Real Madrid ending in June 2021, the player will need to extend his contract for one year with the Spanish champions, before completing his loan to Rome.

It is reported that Borja Mayoral played the last two seasons on loan at Levante, scoring 14 goals in 69 La Liga matches.
