Saudi Arabia announced today (Friday) that the validity of the final exit visa will be automatically extended free of charge to October 31, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The General Directorate of Passports stated that it has started automatically extending the validity of the final exit visa to all expatriates, which were not used during the period of suspension of entry and exit from Saudi Arabia, free of charge for those whose extension period expired until the date of 10/31/2020.
This extension, issued by the Minister of Finance, comes within the framework of the continuous efforts taken by the Saudi government in dealing with the effects and consequences of the global pandemic “Covid-19”, and within the precautionary measures and preventive measures that guarantee the safety of citizens and residents, and contribute to mitigating the economic and financial impacts.
The “Passports” indicated that the extension of the validity of the final exit visa for expatriates was carried out in cooperation with the National Information Center through the automated system without reviewing the headquarters of the Passports Department, indicating that the number of extended visas reached 28,884 visas.
