The Kingdom also established the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, out of its belief in the importance of the digital field, while the Authority recently adopted five national data governance policies, including the data classification policy that aims to protect national data and its confidentiality, and the personal data protection policy that regulates the collection, processing and sharing of personal data.
