Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - DOHA — Qatar announced Sunday a partial resumption of in-person work at government institutions, allowing 30% of employees to return to their offices starting Monday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said remote work will continue for up to 70% of employees at each government entity.
The directive gives priority to mothers and people with disabilities for remote work arrangements, provided that operational requirements are maintained.
The secretariat instructed that 30% of staff report to their workplaces beginning Monday “until further notice.”
On Feb. 28, authorities ordered all employees in ministries, government bodies and public institutions to work remotely due to regional security developments.
