The conservative Liberal National Party (LNP) emerged victorious, securing 48 seats in Saturday’s elections—one more than the 47 needed for a majority, according to ABC News.

In contrast, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's Labor Party managed to win only 30 seats, while the Katter’s Australian Party (KAP) garnered three seats.

The Greens and One Nation each secured one seat, alongside independent candidate Sandy Bolton.

The Labor Party's loss was marked by a significant drop, as it lost 21 seats to the LNP.
