The current death toll stands at 85 nationwide, with 33 individuals injured and 26 still reported missing. Search and rescue operations are ongoing in various affected areas.
The tropical storm has also impacted 520 roads and 84 bridges while causing damage to 27,640 houses across multiple regions.
As recovery efforts continue, local authorities reported that a new tropical storm, Leon, is moving westward at 30 kilometers per hour (18.6 miles per hour) over the Philippine Sea.
