The Internet is currently enjoying one (or at least several) metal monoliths that have appeared in rather unexpected places. This phenomenon has been around for a long time. We just didn’t see it.

For reasons, metal monoliths have recently been found in remote places. For example in the desert in the state of Utah.

Or in northern Romania on a pasture.

And because it’s the year 2020, nobody really asks what it could mean. At least not really intense. It is only suspected that the sculptor John McCracken, who died in 2011, could be behind it, who told his son before his death that he was planning to hide works of art in the world.

Well he was right. Because if we look very closely at certain historical images, it quickly becomes apparent that the monolith has been with us for much longer. We just focused on the wrong things.
