Emergency services have come out big. Four people were injured. Two of the injured have been transferred to hospital, a police spokesman said. Two other people are being treated by emergency services on the spot. The police are also present with many people and are investigating whether a third ship may be involved in the incident.
The ferry is said to have sailed on the route between Central Station and Buikslotermeer in Amsterdam-Noord. The police were notified of the collision at 7.05 pm.
