The state now has a total of 47,049 known coronavirus cases and 705 coronavirus-related deaths.

The majority of these new cases came from the Portland metropolitan area on Wednesday. 172 cases were reported in Multnomah County, 57 cases in Washington County, and 54 cases in Clackamas County.

OHA said Wednesday that some of these new cases in Clackamas County came from an outbreak at the county’s Fred Meyer Distribution Center. So far, 39 cases have been linked to the outbreak, which began October 22nd.
