Two young girls missing in Montreal

Investigators from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) are asking the population for help in locating two young girls who are missing, in two separate cases.

Only 11 years old, L’Orie Jeune was last seen on Thursday in the middle of the afternoon, in the Montreal-North sector, where she could still be currently. She has not given any news since, “which is not in her habits”, indicate the police authorities.

The SPVM says it has legitimate reasons to fear for the young girl’s safety. It weighs 100 pounds, or about 45.5 kilograms, and is 5 feet 4 inches, or about 1.65 meters. She has brown eyes, as well as brown hair styled in a bun.

At the time of her disappearance, L’Orie Jeune was wearing jeans with holes in the front, knees and thighs, and a hoodie style sweater. Her backpack is fuchsia pink, and her lunch box is pale pink. She also has laced shoes.

Second report in Anjou

A second notice of disappearance was published in the evening by the Montreal police, this time for a 12-year-old girl who is missing in the Anjou sector. El Yasmine Hechachena was last seen on Thursday, around 2 p.m.

She did not give any news either, which, again, would not be in her habits. There are also fears for his safety. The young girl could frequent the Anjou sector, and more particularly the Roger-Rousseau park or fast food outlets in the sector.

El Yasmine Hechachena weighs 95 pounds, or 43 kilograms, and is 5 feet 2 inches, or 1.60 meters. She has brown eyes and brown hair. His black coat, at the waist, is Kappa brand, with a white line on each side. Finally, his pants are gray and his shoes are black, Puma brand.

SPVM spokesperson Raphaël Bergeron says there seems to be no link between the two disappearances. “It doesn’t seem to be connected. We are talking about two different contexts. Rather, it’s an unfortunate combination of circumstances, ”he said late in the evening, when young girls were still actively sought.
