A man charged after a car hit two pub patrons in Collie Thursday night has indicated that he will plead guilty to a brief court appearance today.

Benjamin Lawrence Byrne-Quinn, 33, appeared before Bunbury Magistrate’s Court this morning, but the matter was adjourned until Monday.

A 23-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital.

An 18-year-old woman was seriously injured and taken to Collie Hospital by ambulance. She has since been released.

Mr. Byrne-Quinn has been charged with two unlawful acts or omissions with intent to cause harm, a charge of failing to stop and providing assistance after an incident, and a charge of failing to report an incident involving property damage.
