During this period, Trump escalated this thesis, focusing first on that it is possible that there will be disputed elections, and that he will not be committed to the election results unless he is sure of what will happen in the elections by mail, adding that this type of voting is a disaster if they are eliminated It will not be a transfer of power, but rather an extension of it! The Democratic response was violent and glorified to the mail vote due to the Coronavirus, fear of crowding at the polls, or abstaining from voting. Few Republicans like Mitt Romney – the former Republican candidate for the presidency – have condemned Trump’s words and asserted that the peaceful transfer of power is essential to democracy, and that otherwise is unacceptable. But the process of polarization continues, as there is Trump’s base among white people in general and city dwellers in white neighborhoods, and states that have been affected by globalization and whose workers have left without industries to work in, after their factories migrated to Mexico and China, which for various reasons believes that America’s allies stole it or lived at its expense. , And that there is a major conspiracy to change the demographics of the United States by invading immigrants of color from different religions and beliefs. And there is the rest of America and the group of various non-white and non-Protestant minorities (Biden Catholics) and those who are integrated and fused into American society, who want America the way you live.

The First American Civil War took place, as is well known, between North and South (1860-1865), and it is commonly believed that it revolved around “slavery”. This is true, but the war also revolved around the survival of the American Union and the extent to which the rights of the different states reached. There was also a difference in values. The northern states were industrial and technologically advanced, the southern states were agricultural, backward in everything else, and all the time fearful of the liberal values ​​in the North. The current US division geographically proceeds differently between the blue states on the Atlantic coast to the east and the Pacific Ocean on the one hand, and the central and southern states on the other hand. And there is no coincidence that the majority-contested states are those located on the northern lakes in the center (Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Sikenson), in which industry mixes with agriculture, and progress with backwardness. The first states are the most populous, populated with major universities known worldwide, in which there are research centers and advanced silicon valleys, and they are also the focus of what was previously known as the eastern institution that generates American and global ideas for the United States and the world, and in which Hollywood, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon and Boeing were born Among them also emerged ideas of abortion, the freedom of same-sex marriage, and the state’s interference in the freedom of the market and the health protection of individuals. Other states still rely on traditional and extractive industries, agriculture and hunting, and to a large extent adhering to sometimes fanatical religious values ​​that are against all of the ideas indicated.

The issue in its truth is going beyond Trump and his own ideas, and even his way of managing the current division, and he is practically borrowing from ideas that took place to deepen the contradictions, as happened in Germany during the thirties of the last century, and in Arab countries the Muslim Brotherhood proposed the political equation as either ruling or burning and fighting. The formula thus puts all the ideas that America has lived on since the Second World War into serious question and the greatest danger if the matter came to civil strife, or California rejected the American Union if Trump won his way, and it is the one that went out in demonstrations calling for secession after the first success, or put forward states Another is a kind of American “Brexit”. The assumption here is that even if the crisis is real and serious, there are traditions, norms, and the great clash of interests that prevent all of this from happening.
