Brownlow Medal Count 2020: Worst Dressed WAGs at First Virtual Ceremony

AFL WAGs in questionable cut-out dresses and bizarre shoes that are more orthopedic than old Hollywood glamor left a trail of fashion flaws at Sunday’s first virtual Brownlow medal ceremony.

Due to COVID-19, poor material choices flooded the trim bodies in swaths of fabric while others showed too much skin in an event that consisted of satellite events in seven locations across Australia.

The lingerie model became a reality star. Arabella Del Busso showed a striking display in a garish fluorescent dress that was cut with a very daring slit across the chest.

NRL star Josh Reynolds’ 30-year-old ex-girlfriend took a generous look at the leg through an equally risky, thigh-high gap topped with an elaborate ruffle better suited for a 2010 school form than the 2020 AFL medal count .

The poor choice of materials also caused problems for Ellie Thornycroft, partner of Collingwood’s ‘Magpies’ star Taylor Adams, who opted for a bright green lycra maxi dress – the most popular swimwear choice.

The stretchy fabric hung limply and too low at her waist before falling in a heap around her sparkling silver stilettos that must have been difficult to pull in.

It was a different story for Emily Halverson, partner of Brisbane Lions defender Harris Andrews. She chose an outfit that looked chic but was more suited to a corporate boardroom than the biggest night on the Australian football calendar.
