Emirates Securities warns of two unlicensed electronic platforms

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE Securities and Commodities Authority said that it warns against two electronic platforms that are not licensed by it to carry out any of the activities under its control.

The authority stated in statements on its website that the “Q8TRADE” platform and the “Tradetime” platform are not authorized by it, and therefore it is not responsible for any dealings with the two platforms in this capacity.

Last July, the authority said, The website “Khaleejinvest.com” has assumed the name of the Gulf Islamic Investment Company, contrary to the truth.

The authority clarified, in a circular today, that it warns investors against dealing with the aforementioned website in any services or activities subject to the authority’s control.

This comes in light of the supervisory role of the Securities and Commodities Authority to ensure the safety of transactions and the protection of investors, after it was noticed that some authorities announced the practice of activities or provided services subject to the supervision of the Authority without obtaining a license, approval or approval from the Authority in this regard, according to the authority’s statement.
