They can often only do their job in the normal way and not safely from home.

Can we compare the situation in the US with that in the Netherlands? Wilders’ tweet not only stirs up ethno-politics in our country once again, but also presents us with an integration mirror. Essential professions in our country are also disproportionately exercised by biculturists. Just think of your cleaner at home; also in my area I hear women talking about the Moroccan, Brazilian or Nigerian cleaner. Nobody employs an Ingrid to clean toilets. Bi-cultural people are also overrepresented in healthcare. And not with a surgical knife in their hands, but literally, in the form of the hands on the bed.

Is this the emancipation of the integration model? The fact that almost all Albert Heijn employees in the big cities have a color, is a local reflection of society. But where does the native youth in a city like Amsterdam have a part-time job? Or does he not need that financially?
