A 40-year-old Emirati man was found dead by Fujairah Police in the mountains of Didana in the emirate.

The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy, while investigations are underway to identify the cause of the death.

Major General Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of the Fujairah Police, said they were alerted about the mishap by residents.

"Initial investigations show that the victim was living in the area close to the Didana mountains."

"More details are to be announced later," he added.
