Aden - Yasmine El Tohamy - Many airlines have cancelled flights to mainland China to stop spreading the coronavirus.
Emirates airline on Wednesday said its flights to China are operating as per their schedule and there is no change in operations.
Earlier, a number of airlines announced that they're stopping flights to China due to coronavirus concern.
"All flights are running as per normal schedule," an Emirates Airline spokesperson told Al Khaleej Today.
On Wednesday, the UAE confirmed its first case of coronavirus after a four-member Chinese family was infected with the virus.
Globally, British Airways, Finnair, Lion Air have cancelled flights to mainland China to stop spreading the deadly coronavirus.
United Airlines, Air Canada and Cathay Pacific Airways are the other carriers that have already cancelled some flights to China as countries expand travel warnings and demand plummets due to the coronavirus outbreak.
"We apologise to customers for the inconvenience, but the safety of our customers and crew is always our priority," BA said in a statement on Wednesday.
Fears over the spread of the flu-like virus, which originated in the central city of Wuhan, are growing as the death toll rose to 132 and countries warned their citizens over travel to China.
Finnish airline Finnair said it will suspend its flights to Nanjing and Beijing's Daxing airport until the end of March.
