Fortnite is giving out free V-Bucks to some players

Fourteen days Players who can no longer play the updated version of the game on their iOS and Mac devices may have additional V-Bucks on sale if they wish to continue playing on a different platform. Epic Games announced this week that there is a “V-Bucks Bonus” for players on the platforms currently involved in a dispute with Apple. These V-Bucks can then be spent on any platform. Plans for distributing these V-Bucks have been outlined, and players can expect to see the V-Bucks in their accounts by November 9th.

Epic Games’ full statement on V-Bucks bonuses is low. For both iOS and Mac players, Epic Games explained how the process would work depending on where you bought your V-Bucks.

The only perks of this bonus are that you must have played on the iOS and / or Mac platforms to qualify and that you have already owned some V-Bucks on these platforms that have not been spent. If you meet these requirements, you will receive the bonuses described above.

While the V-Bucks you can spend on other platforms are technically the ones you’ve already owned, which means you can get your own money back through in-game currency, the bonus is still welcome like Fortnites Cross-progression system works. V-Bucks are cross-platform compatible in several cases, but not on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. V-Bucks that you buy on other platforms cannot be spent on these consoles. With this bonus, the V-Bucks that are distributed to players’ accounts can be used on any platform Fortnites available on.
