Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have 25+ Prestige...

Treyarch showed how the Prestige system works Call of Duty: Cold War of the Black Ops– and it’s a mix of the traditional Prestige mode and the new season model.

Starting on the launch day on November 13th, players will progress from level one to 55 with traditional progression. Then the season sets in – and so does prestige.

There is a “preseason” period starting before the first season of Black Ops Cold War tritt off in December. In this case, the levels will be reset with each new season and progress will continue from the highest prestige achieved in the previous seasons.

Each season offers four additional prestige for 200 levels and a new draft for level 50. Every 50 levels are a new prestige and more are added each season. So there is reason to come back.

As you reach level 200 each season, you will be awarded the title of Prestige Master for that season, allowing players to customize their Prestige symbol, including the legacy symbols from the previous ones call of Duty Games.

The best thing about the new Prestige system could be that for the first time after prestigging, players can keep their content to create a class. The worry of having to rebuild your favorite classes is gone.

But it doesn’t end there. If players so choose, they can rank up to level 1,000 each season, with “Milestone Rewards to be earned” every 50 levels.
