The Nuketown map is one of Black Ops’ most iconic, and it returns in a new way with Black Ops Cold War through a version called Nuketown ’84. This card is out on November 24th and you can see a teaser image for it in the tweet below.
Starting December 10th with the start of Season 1, there will be more multiplayer maps and modes, including 2v2 Gunfight. In addition to a “Classified Warzone” experience, there are also other weapons, new zombies modes and “much more”.
The statement states that Activision is delivering “epic free content,” but it is not immediately clear whether all of this content will be available at no extra charge. For Modern Warfare, Activision has released all DLCs for free after launch to keep the player base connected.
In addition to this content, there is another Battle Pass with additional cosmetic content that you can earn through gameplay or buy with real money.
Black Ops Cold War kicks off November 13th and marks a big change for the series by offering “synchronized” XP and equating it with Modern Warfare and Warzone. You may need to free up space for the game on your console as it weighs 133GB on PS5 and 136GB on Xbox Series X / S.
