Amazon sharply drops the price of the powerful Xiaomi Poco F2...

Xiaomi is a champion of the quality / price ratio with its various products and its Poco F2 Pro is no exception to the rule, all the more so with a big reduction on the price of this smartphone. The latter drops to 399 euros instead of 549 on Amazon.

If you want a powerful smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon 865 (5G compatible) without paying the high price of the top of the range, the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro seems ideal thanks to a reduction of 150 euros which today makes it a milestone price: that of less than 400 euros.

The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro follows the philosophy of its predecessor by standing out with an extraordinary power for its price. For this, it embeds the powerful Qualcomm chip, aka the 5G compatible Snapdragon 865, which is supported by 6 GB of RAM. Nothing can fault this configuration in 2020 or for the next few years.

Beyond raw power, Xiaomi clearly wanted to go upmarket with its smartphone. The Pocophone F1 had made a lot of sacrifices at the time to reduce the final bill, starting with the screen. Formerly IPS LCD, there is now a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel on this Poco F2 Pro, displaying a maximum definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It has the particularity of being completely borderless, without bubbles or notches. On the other hand, we can regret the absence of a refresh rate at 90 or 120 Hz.

Then, the photo part was much criticized on the first model of the brand. This successor then tries to correct the situation by proposing this time a more modern module, composed of 4 sensors. Note also that the main 64 megapixel sensor is a powerful Sony IMX686, in particular thanks to the pixel binning technique. The result is not perfect, but clearly meets the expectations of a smartphone under 400 euros.

As far as autonomy is concerned, it is in the middle high thanks to a well-managed 4,700 mAh battery, which means that you can easily last more than a day with intensive use. The F2 Pro also recharges quickly with its 33 W block which allows it to go from 6 to 100% in about 1h20, but forget about wireless charging.
