The longtime associate, former Managing Director of Howorth, and current Chief Operating Officer, Graham White, will leave the company.
Since joining WPP’s in-house agency in 2000, White has held various senior roles in Ogilvy’s PR business. He first joined Howorth business and technology communications company in 2000 and became joint managing director in 2005. While at Howorth, White was the co-managing director of Pulse for 18 months from 2007 to early 2009 and played a key role in building and running Ogilvy PR’s Social @ Ogilvy practice from 2009-2013.
White also made an important contribution locally and globally, working with Ogilvy’s global and regional technology practice. White was named COO for opr in February of this year.
Richard Brett, CEO of opr, said: “This year has forced many companies to rethink and backtrack. As we work on our business plans and look ahead, we realize that we need to remodel our agency to meet growing customer needs, key growth areas and our people. As part of this, we had to review our existing roles and operational structures and reconsider what that looks like for 2021 and beyond.
“Unfortunately, as part of this restructuring, we are saying goodbye to our valuable and trustworthy colleague Graham.
“Graham is a trusted advisor to so many clients and a real person. He is very much loved by his teams and always makes time for people and can count on his quick wit British sense of humor. Many of the company’s employees have known and worked with Graham for a long time. Please thank me for his loyalty, commitment, passion and support for this company over more than two decades. We wish him every success for the future, ”concluded Brett.
