The Ruhr derby was the highlight of the day as Borussia Dortmund thrashed rivals FC Schalke 4-0, while title contenders RB Leipzig were held to a 1-1 draw by SC Freiburg.
Meanwhile, sixth-placed VFL Wolfsburg earned a huge three points against Augusbrug, thanks to an injury-time winner from Daniel Ginczek.

Marmoush is a key man for the reserves team (VfL Wolfsburg II), scoring nine goals while assisting two in 15 games in the Regionalliga Nord this season, but had to wait for his first call-up to the main team until today.
He also helped the reserves team lift the league title last season, however, they couldn’t get promoted to the 3. Liga after losing the promotion play-offs to Bayern Munich II.
The forward didn’t feature in the game as head coach Oliver Glasner preferred to bring on the likes Josip Brekalo and João Victor when his side was searching for the winner.
21-year-old Marmoush now becomes the first Egyptian to appear in a squad for a Bundesliga game since April 2012, when Mohamed Zidan played his last game in Germany for FSV Mainz 05.
In case the youngster made his debut for VFL Wolfsburg, he will join the likes of Hany Ramzy, Yasser Radwan, Mohamed Emara, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Samir Kamouna, as well as Mohamed Zidan as the only Egyptians to play in the top-tier of the German football.
