Egyptian Hana Gouda qualified for the semi-finals of the World Junior Championships in table tennis, in the singles competition for girls under 15 years old, in Portugal, today, Tuesday.
Hana Gouda beat Germany’s Hana Greisel 4-1 in the quarter-finals, to book her place in the semi-finals, which will be held on Wednesday.
The results of the games were as follows (8-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-5, 11-9).
Hana Gouda is waiting for the semi-finalist of the match between Romanian Bianca Mi Russo and India’s Suhana Saini.
This comes one day after Han Judea qualified for the doubles final, along with her Japanese colleague Miwa Harimoto.
Today, Tuesday, Hana Gouda will play the doubles final with Harimoto against the team consisting of Hana Greisel and her compatriot Annette Kaufman.
