Qatar reaches the World Championships in Badel

The World Championships will be held in Qatar from Monday 15 November to Saturday 20 November 2021.

This year’s tournament, which is organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation, will witness the participation of 320 male and female players from 16 countries, and its activities will take place at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

Group A: Japan, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.
Group B: Qatar, Senegal and Iran.

The Qatari team finished the qualifiers with a full mark after beating Senegal and Iran in the first round, and then the home team, the UAE in the semi-finals, before surpassing Japan in the final scene of the qualifiers.

The Qatari national team, which camped in the Spanish city of Valencia before the tournament, included 8 players: Abdul Aziz Salah Al-Kuwari, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Kuwari, Khaled Al-Kuwari, Abdullah Al-Hajji, Muhammad Abdullah, Jabr Al-Mutawa, Issa Shanan, and Musa Shannan.
