On Saturday morning wet and very windy with rain showers. Heavy and potentially harmful gusts operating for some time with weather warnings. In the afternoon it is still windy with a mixture of dry spells and heavy showers. On Sunday morning it will rain in a northeasterly direction, so it will stay mostly dry for a while, with bright spells and only the isolated shower. Masters Dublin begin their quest for a four-in-a-row game with a crucial game against Donegal.
The Ulster side defeated Dublin at Croke Park on the opening day of the Lidl National League campaign last year before falling out of their All-Ireland qualifying group and losing to Mayo and Tyrone.
Dublin are calling 12 of last year’s All-Ireland Finals, but it could be a difficult task for them.
Maxi Curran’s Donegal squad can do a great job any day but it will take something special to unsettle Mick Bohan’s Dublin.
The Dublin team is full of talent and has enormous strength to fall back on when needed.
Donegal, however, has Yvonne Bonner back on their side and Geraldine McLaughlin (above) is one of the best strikers in the country.

Cork will start as a favorite at the top of this group, but Cavan and Kerry are capable of delivering great displays.
Kerry will face Cork in Round 2, and winning for the Kingdom here would prepare them well for a jump against their big rivals in Munster.
Kerry flew in Division 2 of the Lidl National League before competition was restricted and there was real class in her striker division.
Cavan has the three Sheridan sisters – Mona, Aishling and Geraldine – on their Start 15 and they are going to need all their experience and expertise to make sure the Breffni girls are there with a hoot here.
Cavan will have to work hard to take down a deadly Kerry in line. Former underage star Síofra O’Shea (above) is dying to take her chance to impress.
