The best team is at the top after another half hour according to Verstappen. “I don’t see how that (using the simulator) is beneficial. I think the strongest team is on top after an hour and a half. The most important thing is that we can immediately find a good balance for the car during the training, hopefully we start the weekend a bit positive.

The simulator is an important part. “Everyone prepares well in advance in the simulator. That’s what those machines are for. If you know that you are less likely to get into your rhythm during a race weekend, then you will probably spend more time in the simulator to compensate for that, ”said Verstappen at the press conference this afternoon.

Third place is where the Limburger expects to be. “It’s not like Monza, although the teams may well be closer to us than usual. But I just expect a third place again. That is also where we should be. ”
