Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Zamalek have defeated Al Ahly 3-1 on Saturday night to end the Red Devils’ unbeaten streak in the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly almost scored the leveller in the 93rd minute but Walid Soliman’s powerful low strike went wide.
Straight after Soliman’s miss, Zamalek hit Al Ahly on the break as Achraf Bencharki started the move and fed Mohamed Ounajem, who was unselfish and teed up Osama Faisal to score their third goal of the evening.
The defeat does not change Al Ahly’s status as they still sit top of the Egyptian Premier League table with 56 points. On the other hand, Zamalek’s win lifts them to second place with 42 points.
