That's the message that's set to make it to Europe on Saturday when it will be plastered all over the Groupama Stadium in France.

Olympique Lyonnais, one of France's top football teams, will play their first match under their new Emirates sponsorship deal wearing strips that tell anyone watching that Dubai is open for travel.

The jerseys have been designed to create awareness that from July 7, business and leisure travellers can return to Dubai.

Olympique Lyonnais will wear the one-off strips when they take on Nice in a friendly match on Saturday. Designed in the Ligue 1 club's home colours, the red and white strips have the words "Dubai is open" emblazoned on the chest.

Similar messages will be seen on digital signboards at other Emirates football sponsorships in Europe, including at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Spain, and Arsenal's The Emirates stadium in England.

Dubai recently announced that is was opening for travel with visitors welcome into the city from July 7.

New air travel measures have been put in place by Emirates to help protect passengers from the coronavirus when they fly. These include

compulsory face masks and reduced in-flight food and beverage services.

Emirates' New Safety Measures

Protective barriers have been installed at Dubai International Airport at each check-in desk and immigration counter to provide additional safety reassurance to passengers and employees during interaction over the counter. Courtesy Emirates 

Emirates has introduced complimentary hygiene kits to be given to every passenger upon check in at Dubai International Airport and on flights to Dubai. These kits comprise of masks, gloves, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser. Courtesy Emirates

The gloves and face masks must be worn throughout the airport and face masks are compulsory on all Emirates flights.

Emirates has added a cabin service assistant to flights with a journey time of more than 90 minutes. This crew member will ensure lavatories are cleaned at frequent intervals of  45 mins. Courtesy Emirates

The Dubai airline has been rebuilding its flight schedule to, through and from Dubai and is currently operating to 50 cities around the world.

All visitors planning a trip to Dubai must hold international health insurance policies covering illness from Covid-19. Travellers should also check current entry restrictions for any country they want to visit before booking flights.

While Dubai is reopening to tourists on July 7, the rest of the UAE remains closed to visitors until further notice.
