Real Madrid have just six days until they resume their La Liga campaign against Eibar at the Bernabeu on Sunday.

Zinedine Zidane's men sit second in the table, two points behind rivals Barcelona with 11 games of the season remaining, so it is important they hit the ground running after the three-month lockdown brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

Based on the video rounding up last week's training sessions, Madrid players are looking sharp and raring to go. Group drills, mini matches, and even a game of football-volleyball were played with plenty of intensity as Los Blancos aim to finish the season on a high with their first La Liga title in three years.

"Zidane has told us to keep working as we are, that we enjoy ourselves, and to keep progressing," Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz said. "We are raring for la Liga to resume, to go and win it. We have 11 finals ahead of us."

Madrid, like the other 19 La Liga teams, will have to complete the campaign in empty stadiums as part of the health and safety measures needed to ensure the season's return.

"The fans mean everything to us and we'll miss them," Diaz said. "We'll try to adapt the best we can to go out and win all of the remaining 11 games."

Given the unique situation of playing without fans, German midfielder Toni Kroos believes whichever team adjusts quickest will have a major advantage.

"It is the first time for everyone playing 11 matches without any fans," he said. "I think the team that adapts to this situation is the one that will win."

After hosting Eibar, Madrid welcome Valencia to the capital on Friday, June 19, before travelling to Real Sociedad on June 21.
