- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly duo Salah Mohsen and Mohamed Abdelmonem have both been loaned out to Smouha until the end of the season.

Salah Mohsen has been linked with a move to Smouha two weeks ago with club president Farag Amer confirming that they are in advanced talks with the former Enppi man and Al Ahly.

Since Rene Weiler took over Al Ahly back in August, Salah Mohsen could not break into the Swiss manager’s side.

The 21-year-old has made just four appearances for Al Ahly in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Overall, Mohsen has made 32 appearances for the Reds since joining them from ENPPI in January 2018, scoring eight goals, and helping the team win two league titles.

The striker wanted to get out of Al Ahly in order to get more playing time, especially with the 2020 Olympics just around the corner.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly’s center-back Mohamed Abdelmonem has not played with the senior team this season.

Abdelmonem is a product of the Reds’ youth sector, but has never featured for the first team, and he is an Egypt U20 international

Smouha has already made three signings this winter, completing moves for Mohamed Talaat from Arab Contractors, and goalkeeper Ahmed El-Sheikh and Uganda forward Derrick Nsibambi on free transfers.

Smouha are currently eighth in the Egyptian Premier League table with 19 points after 14 games played.
