Former AC Milan midfielder and Guinea international Kevin Constant has announced his retirement from football.

Constant spent the most part of his career in Serie A as he represented several Italian clubs including AC Milan, Genoa, Chievo Verona, and Bologna.

The 32-year-old started his professional career in France as he made his debut for Toulouse back in 2006.

His best spell came in the 2009/10 season with Ligue 2 outfit LB Châteauroux, where he scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for the French side.

On an international level, Constant netted four times for Guinea in 25 appearances for his country.

“It was the most difficult decision of my life. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to football. It is time for me to dedicate my time to my children, my family and my future projects,” Constant said on Instagram.
