- Yasmine El Tohamy - The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have postponed games for Al Ahly and Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League.

Both clubs were initially supposed to play Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League on 22 January according to the EFA’s league schedule released at the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Zamalek were set to face off Al Masry on 20 January in the league.

As Al Ahly play Zamalek in the Egypt Super Cup at the Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday, the EFA decided to postpone their respective league fixtures to an undisclosed date.

The decision comes after taking into consideration that both clubs play in the CAF Champions League a week later.

The Red Devils are currently the Egyptian Premier League leaders with 33 points after 11 games played.

On the other hand, the White Castle trail Al Ahly by nine points as they sit third in the league table.
