However, the 27-year-old is currently unhappy at his new club as according to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Elneny and Spanish defender Victor Ruiz have not received any of their financial dues since October.

The situation led to both players raising a warning flag to the club’s board, threatening them to leave the club if they do not receive their financial dues soon.

The report adds that both players have the full right to terminate their contracts in case they don’t receive their dues, without paying any compensation fee.

Beşiktaş are currently six in the Turkish Super Lig with 30 points from 17 games, and will host Sivasspor on Sunday at 18:00 CLT.
