Arsenal stars were stepping up their training ahead of their first fixture after lockdown which could have a huge impact on when the Premier League trophy is lifted.

The Gunners travel to Manchester City on Wednesday June 17, the first day football resumes in England, and if they claim three points it could mean Liverpool win the title just four days later.

Jurgen Klopp's side hold a 25-point lead and need two wins to guarantee the silverware. However an Arsenal victory at the Etihad would mean the Reds would be champions for the first time in 30 years if they beat Everton at Goodison on Sunday, June 21.

The Arsenal players certainly looked to be up for the challenge when they trained at their London Colney centre.

Mesut Ozil, David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were among the first-team squad being put through their paces by manager Mikel Arteta.
