- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly manager Rene Weiler has released his 21-man squad for their clash against Zimbabwean side FC Platinum in the CAF Champions League.

The Red Devils defeated Ittihad of Alexandria 4-0 in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday to extend their unbeaten run to eight straight wins.

Despite their perfect start domestically, Al Ahly are currently third in the CAF Champions League’s Group B with only three points after two games played, three points behind group leaders Etoile du Sahel.
