The curtain came down on the activities of the Sports Career Day, which was organized by the Institute for Leadership Development over three days in the green halls, at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh.

The Sports Career Day, which was inaugurated by Badr Al-Qadi, Deputy Minister of Sports, on behalf of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, witnessed the presence of a number of personalities and leaders.

48 governmental and private entities participated in the event, which is among the initiatives of the Saudi Athletes Network, and was attended by more than 6,000 visitors, 500 of whom benefited from the workshops held by 15 entities, and the number reached nearly 29 workshops. The attendees also experienced sports commentary and television presentation. With 282 experiences, during which visitors took the role of program presenters and commentators on matches, in addition to the experiences of job interviews, which benefited nearly 450 visitors.

A group of parties participating in this event, led by the Ministry of Sports, the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the Saudi Football Federation, the Saudi Professional League, a number of clubs and sports federations, as well as a number of private sports institutions, sought to open channels of communication with a number of applicants, in an effort to attract Young talents and experienced ones, in preparation for their entry into the labor market in the sports sector, and to benefit from their expertise and skills towards developing the sector.

For his part, Abdullah bin Faisal Hammad, director of the Institute for Leadership Development, expressed his thanks, appreciation and gratitude to Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, for his keenness and careful follow-up to the Sports Career Day initiative, and said: Sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Sports, for his support and follow-up to this initiative.
