News 24 | Human Resources: 5,000 male and female citizens...

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Saad Al Hammad, reviewed the ministry’s efforts to localize the field of marketing in the Kingdom.

He explained, during an intervention on the “Saudi Street” program on the “Saudi Arabia” channel, that the ministry aims to localize 12,000 jobs in the marketing sector, noting that 5,000 male and female citizens have actually joined this sector.

He added that there is an urgent need to localize the sector, especially in light of the great competition in the Saudi market, noting that the localization decision will be mandatory, and the schedule of violations and penalties will be applied to establishments that do not comply with the decision.

Regarding the localization of leadership positions, Al Hammad stressed that the ministry has limited experts, specialists and job seekers in this field, stressing that it is difficult to localize all leadership positions, due to the lack of specialists and experienced people in this field.
