The head of the entertainment authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, issued a warning to the abusers of his country.
Al-Sheikh said in a tweet on his Twitter page: “Do not harass the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the Saudis. Weigh your words Zain before you say them, or your actions. Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people are a red line.”
He added: “He who does not know its size, days will learn, and history is before you without saying countries or people. The country is preserved by the Lord of Heaven, and after him its wise leadership and its proud people.”
Al-Sheikh’s statements come amid an escalating crisis between the Kingdom and Lebanon, after statements by the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi (before his appointment to this position), about the Yemen war, which Saudi Arabia considered offensive to it and the countries of the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen.
