Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said today, Saturday, that his country supports “full normalization” with Israel, with conditions.
In an interview with Reuters, he explained that Riyadh’s support for full normalization with Tel Aviv depends on “the approval of a permanent and complete peace agreement that guarantees the Palestinians their state with dignity.”
Bin Farhan expressed his confidence that the new US administration will continue the same policies that are in the interest of “regional stability,” stressing that he “does not see any threat to regional security during the period of power transfer in the United States.”
He reiterated his country’s hope that Washington would classify the Houthi group as a terrorist organization, noting that this would be “completely appropriate.”
