French newspaper “Le Parisien” reported that thieves had stolen luxury items from a Parisian apartment owned by a Saudi princess.
The newspaper said that the 47-year-old princess was shocked after she returned to her apartment, which she left last August, to find that her bags, watches and jewelry have disappeared, while investigators estimated that the total value of the stolen exceeds 600,000 euros.
Agence France-Presse quoted a source familiar with the case as saying that the perpetrators entered “without breaking into” the apartment located on George V Street near the famous Champs Elysees.
Among the stolen items were about 30 “Hermes” bags, valued at between 10 thousand and 30 thousand euros, a “Cartier” watch, jewelry and furs.
“Le Parisien” pointed out that the princess received in August a man with suspicions around him, as he suggested to her several times to sell her luxury possessions on eBay, which she refused, and these doubts were strengthened after discovering that the additional key to the apartment is missing.
