Yesterday (Monday), the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the arrest of a number of violators of the rules and instructions for Umrah that it imposed in cooperation with the competent authorities.
The ministry stated, in a statement, that it had taken appropriate measures against violators of permits, and directed, guided and returned them, in order to ensure the safety of those visiting the Two Holy Mosques.
She stressed the importance of adhering to all health and precautionary measures while performing the rituals of Umrah, visiting and being in the Two Holy Mosques, by wearing masks, sterilizing hands constantly and maintaining spatial spacing, in addition to adhering to the times specified for each group, and being careful not to enter the Two Holy Mosques except after issuing the permits approved by During the application of “Aumrah”, and beware of misleading applications.
The Ministry affirmed that it was keen to apply the highest health standards and the most accurate regulatory and precautionary measures, through continuous monitoring in all stages of the pilgrim’s journey and the direct supervision of the groups and the designated gathering points To ensure the provision of a spiritual and safe atmosphere for the pilgrims.
