She noted that the mechanism approved earlier has already been applied at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
And she continued: “The reception of domestic workers arriving for the first time by recruitment offices and companies immediately after the completion of the entry procedures by the passports sector, and the reception of domestic workers arriving on the exit and return system by the employers directly, and the task of receiving them is directly under the responsibility of the employer.”
The Ministry stressed that this mechanism and the amendments it required will be applied in a number of international airports inside Saudi Arabia, and the date of its commencement will be announced in a timely manner.
