Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi Minister of Sports, wrote on his Twitter account: “I am pleased to announce the participation of the sports sector in the activation of the“ Year of Arabic Calligraphy ”initiative by Arabizing the names on the shirts of the Prince Muhammad bin Salman Professional Cup clubs players for the new football season.

He added, “I thank the Saudi Minister of Culture for his great efforts to serve Arabic calligraphy as it is an essential element in preserving Arab culture and for its aesthetic roles in our Islamic history.”
