Saudi Arabia exports the first shipment of fuel for the “Jazan”...

A report stated that Saudi is about to export the first shipment of refined fuel from the Jazan refinery, as the company prepares to start commercial shipments from the refinery next year.

According to the Bloomberg News Agency, citing the Kepler data company, the giant Saudi Aramco had hired a tanker to transport 475 barrels of diesel fuel to Singapore.

The tanker left Jizan on 26 September and is currently sailing towards the Bab al-Mandab strait. It is scheduled to arrive on October 11th.

Aramco is boosting its refining and petrochemical business to diversify instead of focusing on crude oil.

According to Bloomberg, although Saudi Arabia is the largest exporter of crude oil in the world, it still depends on imports of gasoline and diesel to run power plants, especially in the summer with the high use of air conditioners. Aramco sent the first shipments of crude oil to the Jizan refinery last year.
